Rising Damp

What is Rising Damp?

Rising Damp occurs in buildings when water from the ground rises up through the bricks and mortar of a building by capillary action, in the same way that a sponge will soak up water from the floor.

Rising damp is a serious problem that can affect any property with a faulty or missing damp proof course (DPC). It occurs when groundwater rises up through the walls by capillary action, causing damage to the plaster, wallpaper, timber and paint. If left untreated, rising damp can also lead to health issues such as respiratory infections, allergies and asthma.

At Damp2Dry Solutions, we are experts in diagnosing and treating rising damp. We use the latest technology and methods to install a remedial DPC that will stop the moisture from rising and protect your property from further damage.

Our damp proof injection process is fast, effective and affordable. We also offer a 10-year guarantee on our work, so you can rest assured that your property is in safe hands.
